I have used one of these shuttles for some time for lashing on, weaving on a small loom instead of a standard stick shuttle, and I would use it as well for inlays and pickup work. It’s one of those handy little things that is useful all over the place. These are made by an independent woodworker in Europe, who fells his own trees from his orchard and works with the wood. The wood these are made from is from a very old plum tree that was at the end of its life, so it was time to come down and be replaced by a young tree, but the wood lives on in these beautiful shuttles, meant to be used and worked with. They’re really heirloom tools and I hope you love yours as much as I love mine.
Because of how rare these are, there is a limit of one per order. Thank you for understanding.
