The Erica loom is perfect weavers interested in the features of a small multishaft loom beyond a rigid heddle loom, in a very small format. Coming from Louët this loom is lovely quality and well made. It has traits of larger multishaft looms, like attaining a good even tension and offering a relatively large shed compared to other small format looms. Because this is a multishaft loom in a small format the reeds are interchangeable, meaning the sett (thread density) is up to you, and you can buy additional reeds for different warp densities.
The superpower of the Louët Erica is that you can add additional shafts to extend this loom to 4S, meaning that it can be a powerful travel loom in a tiny space. We strongly recommend two additional shafts for this loom.
